The Minister of Communications and Information Technology meets with the officials of postal service companies and emphasizes providing quality services
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Masooma Khavari met with officials of private postal service companies on Sunday, August 1, 2021.
They discussed the issues such as the improvement of postal services, the creation of opportunities, the solution of potential challenges and cooperation in the provision of better quality postal services in the country.
Head of the Postal Services Regulatory Authority (APRA) Abdul Rashid Ahmadi first introduced the officials of the postal service companies and presented their suggestions and problems in detail.
He stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation and resolving challenges.
The Partakers in the meeting called for the expansion of the Postal Services Regulatory Authority and the creation of more opportunities for the sector.
After hearing the views and suggestions of the officials the Minister of Communications and Information Technology reminded that the law on the regulation of postal services will be approved soon and in its light, the problems of postal services will be addressed.
Minister Khawari added that the APRA will be expanded and Post codes would be digitized.
